Inspiration

THIS PLACE LOS ANGELES is a scenario motion picture studio project inspired by the life and times of Michael Jackson. By walking in his footsteps we find the inspiration to overcome all obstacles and achieve the seemingly impossible.

At the heart of the storytelling that Michael Jackson gifted to the world there was a paramount concern that mass media was sacrificing the innocence of children for the sake of adult entertainment.

Michael Jackson used his acclaimed status in pop culture to re-imagine the dominant Hollywood pre-occupation with shock and horror to show the innocent soul as a triumphant force in the presence of these destructive influences.

Somewhere between “this place” and “someplace else” there was always a “place with no name” that was the ideal location for the innocence of the child to be commemorated.

Starting at the Headquarters of the Five Points Youth Foundation in Los Angeles, we are creating an eParallel Universe called  THIS PLACE LOS ANGELES  that represents an ideal inner city interpretation of this philosophy.

Looking at the origins of Michael Jackson’s intentions to “Heal Los Angeles” we have adopted the “living project” that he shared exclusively with Egyptian filmmaker Susan Elsa that tells the story of the re-invention of Los Angeles from the perspective of the Queen of Angels, Archeia Faith, and her twin soul, Archangel Michael.
